My passion is to bring ideas to life.

I cofounded MedRoom, a virtual reality startup dedicated to medical education in 2015. Since then we have been recognized as one of the 50 most innovative companies in healthcare by Medicina S/A and won prizes at BIG Festival, Global Impact Challenge and others. In 2020 MedRoom was acquired by Ânima Educação, one of Brazil's major Education companies.

About me

I got my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at University of São Paulo after nine looong (but very productive) years; founded a tech company with my partner, Sandro, and sold it to one of Brazil’s most important higher education companies. I am also an angel investor at Petit Fabrik and advisor at DeltaGoal.

I have been leading a high tech, multidisciplinary team at MedRoom and, together, we became the pioneers in virtual reality for education and healthcare in Brazil. We're present at over 60 Brazilian and Latin America universities, introducing new technology into one of our most conservative industries.

We have been recognized as one of the 50 most innovative companies in healthcare by Medicina S/A, and won prizes at BIG Festival, Singularity University and others. Funded and supported by the best hospitals in Brazil, MedRoom was acquired in 2020 by Ânima Educação.

This journey took place while I was still in college, studying biological sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP) (2012-2021). Part of this journey was invested studying entrepreneurship at the Politechnique School at USP, where I took the Stanford ME310-based course (Integrated product design).

I was also part of the Brazilian scientific mobility program, Ciência sem fronteiras (Science without borders). The program allowed me to be a guest student (2014-2015) at Bowling Green State University, in Ohio, USA. There I had the opportunity to go deeper into my entrepreneurship studies.

Back in Brazil in 2015 I met Sandro and, together, we founded MedRoom, the company I’ve been dedicating my carreer since and where I perform my role as CEO.
